Rooney All Set To Say Good Bye Manchester United!!

Wayne Rooney

The Manchester United star that had an impressive last season with a total of 34 goals last season seemed to be the leader up front for Red Devils this season. The total scenario seemed to be different for Wayne Rooney, the player who had a poor world cup performance never came back to form and later got involved with media criticism for almost every possible bad things in earth. Adding more flavor to this Rooney is now seeking a move away from Manchester United this January.

The player who was supposed to be an example for the red devils is now all set to embarrass the club by declining a contract extension with the club. The Manchester United Manger Sir Alex Ferguson said that “the player is adamant that he wants to leave the club and so he is not ready to sign the contract extension.” The manager said that he was shocked to hear this news but said that he has asked the player to maintain the clubs reputation, honor and its culture and behave like a professional. SAF continued that Chief Executive of MUFC David Gill will again contact him for negotiations and will provide him with a good offer which would be difficult to better elsewhere.

The United manger was very much straight that he would reveal all the facts as it is. He said that all the mystery was behind the injury of the Player he said that the player was injured and that was the reason why he was left out of the match against Everton. He said the player was suffering from an ankle injury and so he wanted him to be fit for the England Internationals where he could score some goals and regain his form.

He made it clear that he was shocked by Rooney’s decision. He said that the club has always tried to help the player both in his personal and professional life and he continued He’s not the only one that gets that privilege as we do that with all players, no matter who it is. It is part of our job here that we look after our players which creates a tremendous loyalty that has always been the foundation of our club.

SAF said he is not aware of the reason for Rooney’s such and decision but was stern on his policies that no player is bigger than the club and has all doors open for the player and will not try to influence his decision by any wrong means.

The player who has expressed his discomfort with club has now been linked up by many leading clubs. With teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Barcelona has all expressed their interest on the player publicly. It would be interesting to see what would be the final verdict of the player to stay or good bye. Whatever the decision is by this time the player has lost all his credibility and respect in front of the fans.
