Kids Need Parents’ Support In Sports

If parents really want to ensure that their kids stay fit and be among the most intelligent students in class then they should encourage their kids for indoor as well as outdoor games. They should understand the intention of kids for participating in sports. Most of the time kids play to enjoy, get together with friends and no doubt learn the new skills at games. Parents should always support their kids to meet their intention.

Are you a really supporting your kids in a right manner? If not then start supporting them for participating them according to their interest. Sit down with your kids and ask why you want to play this game. Suppose your child wants to play cricket because he wants to be famous like master blaster Sachin Tendulkar then ensure that you are enrolling him in such programs which would be beneficial for him to make a good cricketer.

Parents should always ensure that kids are selecting games to play according to their choice and not due to pressure or expectations of parents. What I have seen just like in education where a child is forced to go for engineering and medical by their parents, kids are forced to play the games according to choice of their parents. How can you expect the child to continue playing games which are out of their interest? They would just take it as a burden and would like to get rid of such burdened games in later stage of their life. One can do well at a game only when he has a passion for it and I think emotions of parents is not going to last for long.

Parents should appreciate even a small achievement of child and cheer them up for something big next time. If you really don’t have time to attend the matches played by them then try your best for your presence. Your presence would make them to feel that he is doing something worthy which his parents like and moreover your presence is going to boost him for better performance.

Like every child your child too is going to make mistakes. Don’t scold them but it would be better if you try to make him understand his mistake by a talk. Always point out their mistakes but never try to demoralize them. Always remember number of dedicated and repeated attempts is more important in games than number of wins. If you are really going to support him the day will come when he will be one among the best players and would really love to play sports and respect you for your co-operation.so come on your child really needs you!
