Paintball in India

Paintball in India

Basketball was the result of some random creativity of Naismith similarly was born the game paintball. Paintball is not even a quarter century old. This new born kid in the world of sports is welcomed warmly by those who have whimsical ideas and fun loving nature.

Paintball is not a sport as such it was used to mark the livestock and trees in the West. No complex equipments are used in this game except for the paintballs and the paintball gun. They are not simple either; the guns eject balls containing colorants in them. This game was adopted by the military for different grades of training. Indoor or outdoor, small team or cluster of teams, playing with a goal or playing it as a typical party game, no matter what the purpose is paintball is considered as utmost fun giving ingredient in the meal of sports.

Generally there is feeling among the players that there is a same amount of adrenaline rush as in hunting the wild animals in the forest when you play this. Splashing colours on yours folks gives you wild fun!

The acme was when NPL (National Paintball League) was found in 2008 by Kiran Soans. With great zealous participants from the metropolitan and cosmopolitan cities the game had a good backing in India. From Chennai to Shillong the game saw huge influx of players. More than the winning feel the top teams had outstanding fun which cannot be tagged with any price money. More similar events are planned to be scheduled in the coming year to enthrall the fun-loving or fun-living pals.

This game is a classic example of teamwork. It is considered as corporate, college’ fun sport as it shows out the speed, dexterity, coordination in the players.

NPL has reached out so much to the zones that it has created stores, franchises and a lifestyle of its own.

Be into the sport which is beyond the standard cricket, soccer or tennis. This game makes the saying ‘Winners come out with flying colours’ little different; only when you are coloured heavily you become a Winner here!
