Russia In 2018 While Qatar In 2022 Will Host FIFA World Cup

FIFA World Cup

FIFA World Cup

Zurich, Dec 03: On Thursday the day saw very new lands, to host the prestigious and ominous FIFA for 2018 and 2022. 2018 gone to the great Russia and 2022 saw the winner from gulf Qatar.  Russia won the rights of hosting the 2018 World Cup, and this will be first time ever hosted in the continent of Eastern Europe, where it won after 10 editions. So in the western half of the continent Russia, saw a very bright face to be the hosts. On the other hand Qatar, a very shocking and surprising country to host World Cup 2022, first time ever in the Middle East and in an Arab country.

Qatar will also be debut country to host World Cup with a smallest population of less than a million. FIFA President Sepp Blatter, who announced the winners of bidders for World Cup hosts, by a vote from his executive committee excitedly, said “We go to new lands. The World Cup had never been gone through Russia or any Eastern Europe country, while the Middle East and the Arabic World was waiting for this opportunity for a very long period of time.” There were total of 22 members who voted for the two countries to host the World Cup, while two members of EC were suspended due to the bribery allegations on them.

Russia defeated the powerful countries like England, Belgium, Spain-Portugal and Netherlands, while Qatar conquered over Australia, Japan, USA and South Korea. Certainly it was a very memorable moment for the two countries, as their huge dream came true. In the last round of 2018 bids, Russia won by having majority votes of 13 and Qatar won the final round with maximum votes of 14. England and Australia were knocked out in the first round itself of 2018 and 2022 bids.

Author:

Hello everyone this is Ronak Parekh and I’m currently student of S.Y.B.M.M. I’m 20 years old from Mumbai. I choose my career in B.M.M because I always wanted to do something which is of my interest. And my passion has always been sports especially cricket and F1. I really want to be linked with sports in my future. B.M.M course gives the opportunity in journalism from where I can move to sports category. When I was child I always used to play and watch cricket a lot which usually most of the people does. I gained my interest in F1 due to only one man and that was none other than seven time world champion Michael Schumacher. Actually I’m also very passionate about cars so it is really fun when I see this sport. Today I’m really excited about getting an opportunity to do internship for three months with the sports mirror, where I will have full freedom to express my views and opinions regarding every sport. I definitely will try my best to write the articles as good as possible which would be worth interesting for readers. I really whole heartedly thanking the sports mirror again for giving me this vital opportunity and I promise I will make the most of it.
