Shane Warne

Dec 06: The World’s best spinner ever and the legend from Australia need no sort of any introduction. He was very good in winning a match from almost losing position. The legendary is now ready to move beyond cricket: this time he wants to turn fashion designer. After successfully launching his men’s sportswear line in his home country in 2009, Shane is all set now to launch the sporting label spinners by him in India very soon. The leg spinner relishes talking about his new found passion in life as a fashion designer, “I really like clothing and fashion. As I have travelled around the world, I found that there is a market everywhere of sportswear line for men’s and boys.”

Warne said, “I have kept it very simple and really casual, and added my favourites and passionate items like brilliant looking jeans, easy fit t-shirts and cool shorts. While creating the clothes for boys I have kept a fact in mind that they always like to cloth just same as their dad. My son Jackson was also helping me out in this. I was so proud of him when we together doing the photography collection, he was just so natural like me!” Did he ever discuss this passion to his stylish team owner Shilpa Shetty? “Women’s wear is very exciting and a chance for growth opportunity. And if Shilpa is interested in involving with my brands I would really welcome her.” he replies.

Talking about cricket, what’s his take on the IPL which is running through in kind of trouble in India? “Well it was really fortunate for me to be the skipper and coach for the Rajasthan Royals team in the league, and I was really happy to take my team from bottom to top in the first season. I’m really looking ahead to be a part of the fourth season.” he responds.

Ronak Parekh

Author:

Hello everyone this is Ronak Parekh and I’m currently student of S.Y.B.M.M. I’m 20 years old from Mumbai. I choose my career in B.M.M because I always wanted to do something which is of my interest. And my passion has always been sports especially cricket and F1. I really want to be linked with sports in my future. B.M.M course gives the opportunity in journalism from where I can move to sports category. When I was child I always used to play and watch cricket a lot which usually most of the people does. I gained my interest in F1 due to only one man and that was none other than seven time world champion Michael Schumacher. Actually I’m also very passionate about cars so it is really fun when I see this sport. Today I’m really excited about getting an opportunity to do internship for three months with the sports mirror, where I will have full freedom to express my views and opinions regarding every sport. I definitely will try my best to write the articles as good as possible which would be worth interesting for readers. I really whole heartedly thanking the sports mirror again for giving me this vital opportunity and I promise I will make the most of it.
