The Excellence Of Execution: Bret “Hit Man” Hart

Bret “Hit Man” Hart

Bret “Hit Man” Hart

In the entire WWE history, if you search one wrestler who most respected the championship belt, then it has to be Bret Hart.

Six foot tall, with 234 pounds, Bret Hart was totally a technical and strategic wrestler, his technique was one of the best and he used to execute his strategies perfectly.

He was the one most respected wrestler in WWE history as he has never broke the rules of a match or even injured any wrestler in his entire carrier.

He started his carrier a tag team wrestler but later he in 1992 he decided to wrestle for the World Championship and he successfully defeated Ric Flair. From there it began the Bret “THE HITMAN” Hart Era.

He gained popularity for his finisher “Sharpshooter” which leads to pain in the lower back of the opponent. He was master in executing that move. Majority of his match, he won with the help of his finisher. He made tapped out wrestlers like Ric Flair, Razor Ramon, Stone Cold Steve Austin ( did not tapped , but was unconscious due to flow of blood and pain), Lex lugar and many more.

His also had feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Micheals. Although he won the match against Austin, but his fan following was going down because he posed old methods of wrestling, which was not that entertaining. A personally rivalry with Shawn Micheals was a big point in his carrier. He lost the match to Shawn Micheals in an Iron Man match. It is considered the best match of all time. That loss ended the Bret Hart Era. Later in 1997 he was betrayed by the Chairman of WWE. That incident was called Monteral Screwjob.  The referee calls for the bell, even though Bret hart did not tapped, Resulting Bret Hart losing his title. This led huge controversy in WWE. As Bret quit WWE and pursued his carrier in WCW.

He retired in 2000, but in his entire wrestling carrier he was WWE United States Championship one time, WWE Championship five times, WWF Intercontinental Championship two times, WWF Tag Team Championship two times with Jim Neidhart, King of the Ring (1991, 1993),WWE Superstar of the Year (1993), Royal Rumble (1994) and Second Triple Crown Champion.

He also took the vengeance of the Montreal Screw job and became friend with his rival Shawn Micheals in 2010 leaving behind all their problems.

Thus Bret hart was a wrestler with a big heart; he wrestled for the people with clean attitude, which hardly any wrestler has done in this decade.

As it is ‘The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be’: Bret “THE HITMAN” Hart.
