The Winning Way – Into The Stores

The Winning Way

The Winning Way

Happy news, striking news, shocking news… all comes at the same moment. Chennai Super Kings get the title for the second time, the headline which used to say “Roger Federer dethrones….. and clinches the title” changes to “Federer enters the Quarter finals of the French Open”, “Gayle tweeted that his home team West Indies is not showing enough respect”… and so on. The rise of the CSK regime, the plummeting period of Roger and the many other events like the Champion League, NBA Finals and so on there is this little event which recently happened amidst the big ones.

At the Trident, Mumbai there was all celebrations last fortnight, bumbling throughout the evening were the entire cricket fraternity at the launch of the Bhogle’s first book, “The Winning Way”. The couple, Harsha Bhogle and his wife, Anita Bhogle with lot of experience over the sport cricket and coupling it with the managerial blend produced this book.

If you want to know what exactly made Sachin different from any other Tom, Dick or Harry; what made MS Dhoni always a cool customer of adulations, named the lucky or the most needed Captain while others sulked in leadership; what is the difference between the winners and the losers! read this. This book is a production of the two IIM-A alumni after a great deal of data mining.

The book was launched by Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kholi. MSD, Wasim Akram, Anil Kumble, Stephen Fleming, Pathan brothers, Raina were all present at the occasion. This book is well related to the IPL pattern; on delving one can find a close proximity between the Sport world and the Managerial domain. The authors try to give away the universal mantra for the success at any level in a nutshell.

Priced at two hundred [INR] this book is well acclaimed by the sport mentors, coaches and other critics.

Hello folks! I am Bharathi Murali, 20, a Chemical Engineering student who always look at journalists or journalism students with a little jealousy in my eyes. With regard to sports I just love watching them on TV when it comes to playing them I have tried to play most of the Indian sports with shallow knowledge in each. I am also a part of the University Basketball team and guess more than scoring I take care of defence better and well known for the fouls that I generally commit! I blog at www.thebhavachakra.blogspot.com. In one line I have always admired Bhagat Singh more than Gandhi, I support radicalism!
