Is Real the real reason behind Ronaldo’s unhappiness?

The star of the show, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goals of the season against Granada but that side-swaying with his arms reached out Ronaldo was missing from the game. The win was easy as the game ended with a 3-0 making this the first win for Madrid this season but instead of focusing on the game’s highlights, there was just one question on everyone’s mind: why was Ronaldo unhappy?

Is Real the real reason behind Ronaldo’s unhappiness?

The ball was in Madrid’s control the entire game and the first score was opened by Ronaldo. Thought the second goal came in the second half, Real enjoyed the first half of the game with ease. Ronaldo had to leave early due to an injury of which the pain was clearly visible on his face, the team was in a comfortable position even after that. Then why was the striker sad after all?

Then the mass inquiries of the mass media started. The many interviewers waiting to be the first to dig out the real reason behind the glum Ronaldo, the excessive picture taking at different angles to compare his ‘happy’ and ‘not happy’ facial expressions etc. It was then speculated that there were money troubles that were the cause of his uneasiness but then Ronaldo clarified that there was nothing to do with money. This only triggered further assumptions.

Ronaldo currently earns 12 million pounds a year but his position has certainly dropped a few places after the signings of other, more expensive players such as Didier Drogba of Shanghai Shenhua. But money woes is just a guess that everyone is making as the real reason still hides within him.

“That I am feeling sad and have expressed this sadness has created a huge stir. I am accused of wanting more money, but one day it will be shown that this is not the case.”

He also said that his focus and attention are still 100% with the team and any other, side troubles will not affect his performance today or the coming tomorrow.

“At this point I just want to guarantee to the Real Madrid fans that my motivation, dedication, commitment and desire to win all competitions will not be affected. I have too much respect for myself and for Real Madrid to ever give less to the club than all I am capable of.”

This does not mean that quest to find out why Ronaldo is grim and gray is over.
