Galatasaray say that they have opened negotiations with Inter Milan over the transfer of unsettled playmaker Wesley Sneijder. The Netherland International has not featured for the Nerazzurri since September after rejecting a request to take a pay cut, although Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has long insisted his absence from the team is solely a tactical decision.

Wesley Sneijder was also dismissed from training for Christmas early, despite Inter Milan having two more games to play before the winter break, and now appears to be on his way out of the club. Sneijder, who won a treble with Inter under Jose Mourinho in 2010, has reportedly attracted interests from Paris St Germain and the Manchester clubs, but it appears that the Turkish side Galatasaray are leading the chase for his signature. Sneijder’s agent is still keeping his player’s option open.

He said: “This is a very strange situation for all of us. It’s not right that a footballer of his caliber is not playing, and that the crowds are not able to watch him.

“The Premier League is a top league in Europe, so of course it would be appeal, but Wes would want to play for a top team. Wes just loves to play football and we need to find a solution”

Galatasaray website says that: “Galatasaray announces it has begun negotiations with FC Internazionale for the transfer of Wesley Sneijder. The public will be informed of the developments”.

Meanwhile, David Beckham will make the eagerly awaited decision on his future after crucial talks coming up next week. Beckham’s representatives are set evaluate a dozen offers which that the player received in recent weeks.

Clubs from England, Europe, Australia, China and the Middle East have expressed their desire to sign David Beckham who left LA Galaxy last month.

Liverpool are on the verge of signing Thomas Ince from Blackpool for a fee reported to be around 6 million pounds. Swansea had made an enquiry about the England U-21 international but they backed out after getting to know about the asking price of the player.

Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a 25million Euro bid to sign the Bosnian Striker Edin Dzeko from Manchester City. The Italians have made a short list of the players whom they are looking for which includes Leandro Damiao and Loic Remy.
