Sunil Narine is out of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

The ace off-spinner Sunil Narine would not play the upcoming world cup owing to some controversies surrounding around his bowling action. The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has recently stated that the right-handed spinner is undergoing some stringent bowling practice to rectify his arm movement. The Trinidadian cricketer was suspended last year during T20 Champions league 2014 for his illegal bowling action.

The 26-year-old cricketer informed the board that he is trying his level best to overcome the said problem and may need a little more time to come back to international cricket as an off-spinner and play again. Meanwhile the bowler sounds very enthusiast about his progress.

Sunil Narine’s International Career in Cricket

Format Of The Game Matches Wickets Bowling Averages Economy Rate
Tests 6 21 40.52 3.10
ODIs 52 73 26.50 4.10
T-20 I s 32 38 17.50 5.70

The WICB sources added that a suitable replacement would be announced soon for the world cup in place of Narine. The young cricketer doesn’t want to take any chance unless he finds himself fully confident and hundred percent fit.

Narine is taking each of his remedial sessions very seriously and is very optimist to return to normal cricket but only a few more months after the ICC World Cup 2015. Meanwhile the classy off-spinner has conveyed best wishes to the West Indies Cricket team for the upcoming cricket extravaganza and also thanked the WICB and fans for continuing to support him.

Sunil Narine explained that he will definitely play cricket at the earliest, but not unless he feels cent percent sure and convinced about the same. As per the rule no bowler is allowed to bend one’s arm more than 15 degrees flexion allowance. Last year the off-spinner’s bowling style came under scrutiny at twenty-twenty championship. Since then the cricketer has remained suspended from the game.

Sunil Narine is hugely famous for his knack of picking up wickets at regular intervals. The cricketer is a regular member of the West Indian team at Tests, ODIs and T-20 international matches. Just within a couple of years from his rocking entry into the game of cricket the bowler becomes overnight star and a regular member of the team. Narine also regularly plays for domestic T20 squads like KKR and Trinidad & Tobaggo.

Sunil Narine’s absence may hugely affect West Indian bowling attack as his mysterious top spin deliveries could bowl out any best batsman in the world. Fans are eagerly waiting to see him in action at the earliest.
