  4. His magical bowling figure of 6 for 9 (6.2 overs) against India in Mumbai during 2004-05 test session is still afresh in the minds of billion cricket fans. He is an extremely useful slow-left-arm bowler.

A cricket fan asked him to name top 5 greatest cricketers and he mentioned Warne, Lara, Tendulkar, McGrath and Kallis in his answer. However, he also revealed it later that Caribbean legend Brian Lara is his all time favorite cricketer. This makes it clear that amongst batsmen, his favorites (in order of preference) are Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar and Jacques Kallis.

As far as his favorite bowler is concerned, the New South Wales born cricketer mentioned several names, which makes it difficult to consider his favorite bowler. However, the name of legendary leg-break bowler Shane Warne might come on top. Clarke tweeted that Shane Warne is amongst the greatest cricketers he played the game alongside. Glenn McGrath is also his favorites. He further explained that Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan was the most difficult spin bowler he faced in his entire career.

Pup was also quick to add that Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar was the fastest bowler against whom he played the game. Albeit, he surprised everyone by saying that English all-rounder and legend Andrew Flintoff was the best bowler against whom he played cricket. Michael Clarke is currently in the Caribbean Islands to lead his side – Australia for a test series against West Indies.
