Telegu Titans registers an emphatic win over Dabang Delhi




Vishakaptnam, 1 February: Telegu Titans registered an emphatic win in their third match in the Season 3 of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League tie here today against Dabang Delhi. It was their second successive in a row after they defeated Pune yesterday. It was a dominating display by Telegu Titans who outplayed in all departments right from the start.

In the first half Rahul Chowdhary dominated the first 7 minutes to get Dabang Delhi all out in 8th minute. Telegu Titans continued to dominated even after that to lead 15-5 in first 10 min. Rohit Chowdhary earned appoint for Dabang Delhi to take the score to 6 in 13th min. Then Adake was captured to take Telegu Titans to 17-6. In a do or die Delhi captured the raider earning 7th point. Next Telegu Titans raider also got a point. Surjeet earned a toe touch. Sukesh Hegde took 2 points in a raid to lead 20-8. Rahul Chaduary got out Raj Guru’s and Amit in the next three successive raids. Telegu Titans captured Adake and got Dabang Delhi all out for the second time in first half going in break at a score of 26-10.

Rahul Chaudry never got out in first half. Ravinder Pahal felt let down by the team despite Kashiling Adke one of the best raiders in the game. Telegu Titans earned a point each in next raid and opponents raid.. For a change Dabang Delhi captured next raider followed by Adke earning 3 points to take their score to 14-28. Praveen Navale going in lobby challenged saying he touched a defender. Review was unsuccessful. Kashiling was captured by defenders in next raid. Sukesh Hegde earned 2 points in next raid taking Telegu Titans to 32 points. Rahul Chowdhary was penalized by suspending for 2 minutes for shouting at the defender. Sukesh was captured in next raid. Niwale was captured in his next raid. Kashiling earned 2 points followed by another tackle point. Rahul was left alone, but he touched Pahal in next raid and revived a player. Surjeet touched remaining both players and got Telegu Titans all out narrowing the gap to 27-36 when 8 minutes play was left. Surjeet got one more point in next 2 raids bridging the gap to 8 points only. Telegu Titans earned next 2 points one through raid another capturing Surjeet taking score to 40-30 in favour of Telegu Titans. Miraj captured Adke in next raid score at 42-31, 4 minutes before final whistle. Rohit Baliyan got 2 raid points completing super 10. Kashiling Adke and Surjeet also got super 10. Telegu Titans registered an emphatic win with final score of 45-34. Rahul Chaudary was awarded the man of the match.
