LaLiga in India can help growth of Indian Football

One of the best professional sports leagues in the world – LaLiga which features popular clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and many more is making significant investments towards the growth of the football league in India.

LaLiga in India can help growth of Indian Football

The Spanish football league, LaLiga officially inaugurated the league’s Delhi office, whose primary aim is to boost LaLiga’s presence and reach in a country with a population of almost 1.3 billion.

LaLiga’s presence in India will help Indian football, whilst offering to support grassroots development programs alongside having exhibition matches between not only league clubs but also friendlies between legends of the game to have played in Spain.

LaLiga has taken steps to raise its appeal by changing the traditional kick-off with Indian fans in mind. Indian fans, who normally get to watch the LaLiga matches late at night, will now be able to watch these games at prime time in late evening. The strategy for LaLiga is to make all the clubs in the league well known among Indian fans and convincing Indian business houses to invest in the Spanish clubs.

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) will bring the Spanish league – LaLiga into Indian households and fans of LaLiga in India will be able to follow the competition.

LaLiga now has six international offices in all, with its base in India joining the ones in the United States, South Africa, Dubai, Nigeria and China.

The long wait to watch world-famous footballers in action is over now. If you want to see playing top quality players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Gareth Bale and Karin Benzema, you need to follow the Spanish League – LaLiga.

The growing visibility of football and tournaments like ISL, are compelling major global leagues to look towards India. India has also come up as a lucrative option for several former football legends in the form of Indian Super League and Premier Futsal.

LaLiga will have a positive impact in a football developing country like India and motivate young kids to play football. LaLiga presence will ‘change the face of Indian football‘!
