South United F.C. has consistently been placed second in the Bangalore Super Division since its first season (2012), and hopes to win the title this year.

The club boasts a new set of talented young players, including Rushi Anto and Pavan S., who will be playing their first season of the Bangalore Super Division for South United.

Mr. Sharan Parikh, Director, South United F.C. said, “South United has been consistently winning the runners up trophy of the Bangalore Super Division. But we sure do hope to better our standing and win this year! Two of our senior players, Sunil Kumar and Kabir Thaufiq, are on loan to Chennai City F.C. for the season. Solaimalai will be replacing Sunil as the Captain for the Super Division. We have recruited promising young talent into our squad, and look forward to the season with great optimism!”

Seven of the club’s players have just returned from Kerala, where they represented the South Zone in the 71st Senior National Football Trophy, Santosh Trophy 2017. The experience of playing in the Santosh Trophy should stand them in good stead.
