The Spaniard at present leads the table with 5-3 in her favor. But time has now changed. PV Sindhu is performing brilliantly on frequent basis. In fact, she also defeated top seeded Carolina Marin at the group stage of the World Super Series final at Dubai in December with 21-17, 21-13 in an almost one-sided manner. But the Spaniard soon avenged the same when she again beat Sindhu at Premier Badminton League 2017 in January this year. But it won’t get counted in their international performance – still Marin has some psychological advantage over the lanky Indian athlete.

Who will win India Open World Super Series Final 2017?

The prize money is set at whooping $325,000 for the winner. The final will be held at the Siri Fort Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. Marin has recently recouped from a nasty injury that she suffered a few months back, so she is expected to give her 100% at this match. But we mustn’t forget PV Sindhu’s astonishing form either. Overall, it’s going to be a fighting clash.

PV Sindhu’s Semifinal performance against the South Korean is a testimony to the fact that she has now become a more determined player than ever. In the beginning of this year, Sindhu also won Syed Modi International Grand Prix Gold and now she is also set to win it big against the Olympics Gold Champion for the India Open Super Series 2017 Final.

The finale will be a nail-biting one and almost a rematch to what we have seen at their Rio Olympics 2016 finale. Badminton fans from across the globe are expected to watch this event live as this is surely a battle of the two biggest contemporary Badminton stars. Watch the match live on April 02 from 5:30 PM (IST) onwards on Star Sports2.
