Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) will clash tomorrow at Pune in an exhilarating contest. RPS record stands at 1-1 win/ loss record at IPL 10 while Delhi Daredevils failed to start off their IPL campaign in style. Despite restricting RCB for a modest total of 157, the Zaheer Khan-led team failed to chase down the total, and conceded a shocking 15-run loss to RCB. The pressure to perform will be definitely more on Delhi Daredevils than Rising Pune Supergiant.

RPS made some smart move this year by picking up the likes of Ben Stokes in the squad. He gave a massive boost to the team’s all-round strength with his awe-inspiring bowling and batting. In both matches, Stokes batted well with the scores of 21 and 50 respectively. Though, his bowling looked pretty simple at these matches.
Team News for Rising Pune Supergiant
The team has some specialist batsmen in the squad like Steven Smith, MS Dhoni, Manoj Tiwary, Mayank Aggarwal and Ajinkya Rahane. They are in tremendous form and can make a mockery of any bowling attack anytime. The Delhi’s strategy should be send these batsmen back to pavilion at the earliest.
Rahane struck 66 and 19 in the first two matches while Smith scored a fiery 86* in the IPL 10 inauguration match. He also hit another 26-run knock in the second match to demonstrate his sublime form with the bat.
RPS will have to work on their pace bowling attack. Dinda, Stokes and Christian bowled quite ordinarily in both matches. But massive expectations will be there from the ace Proteas spinner Imran Tahir. His 4-over leg-spin bowling can be a make or break opportunity for the opponents.
He chipped in five important wickets at two matches, and will surely continue his good form. RPS need to ensure another good bowling partner from the other end. But it won’t be easy – Smith-led team has a very limited spin bowling options. Leg-break bowler Rahul Chahar could be a good option if he plays tomorrow.
Team News for Delhi Daredevils
After a disastrous IPL 10 first match, DD must be looking forward to start afresh. They will try to win tomorrow’s match to regain the lost confidence. Their fast bowling unit is quite strong including the likes of experienced Zaheer Khan, Morris and Pat Cummins. Also, left-arm-oorthodox spinner Shahabaz Nadeem could be a vital cog in the wheel for DD. He bowled well at the domestic season this year.

Delhi Daredevils batsmen like Sam Billings, Karun Nair and Sanju Samson have to come forward and play well. Rishabh Pant was excellent in his last match with his crucial 36-ball 57 run knock. Hope he gives similar performance tomorrow as well. The young man looks to be in sublime touch.
Delhi’s all-rounders Craig Braithwaite and Morris will also have to bat explosively down the order in time of need. Latest rumour suggests that DD may pick Corey Anderson for tomorrow’s match against RPS.
