Speaking of trends, the new KKR jersey has brought in another round of applause and much love from fans. Under the guidance of Coach Jacques Kallis, the team seems to have made some progress, especially with the management and training of the youth players.

Former Wins

Former wins during the 2012 and 2014 IPLs made KKR one of the top few teams to have actually won the trophy for the second time. 2015, the Knight Riders suffered a heavy loss at the hands of the leading team: Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The team has so far won 69 out of the 132 matches it has played. With 2 ties and 61 losses, KKR has yet to prove itself during IPL season 10. Some questions regarding the team and its glory days still remain, as we embark on the journey towards the IPL season 10 finals.

Ready for Battle

The likely 11 form the team’s core and they have been predicted as follows:

Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Ishank Juggi, Manish Pandey, Suryakumar Yadav, Yusuf Pathan, Trent Boult, Sunil Narine, Chris Woakes, Kuldeep Yadav and Shakib Al Hasan.

Gautam Gambhir

The team captain has been doing an incredible job so far, with the growing amount of unrest and unpredictability since last year. KKR won its two trophies under the captainship of this guy who has an uncanny ability to stay calm, just like his name suggests.

During the last match with the Gujarat Lions, Gautam Gambhir along with partner Chris Lynn set a record on IPL partnership as they battered the other team to dust.

Robin Uthappa

This wicket keeper has not had a very good season as of yet, but his consistency with his performance for KKR has been outstanding and consistent as of yet.

Manish Pandey

Though the right handed batsman hasn’t shown considerable strength in the nationals, he has always proven his mettle when it came to playing for IPL.

With consistent performances and amazing batsmanship the player rightly deserves being no. 3 for the team and more is definitely expected of him this season.

Chris Lynn

The British Batsman has yet to meet expectations when it comes to batting for KKR. He definitely has more of those runs in him and has proven himself whenever the occasion has arisen.

With the latest partnership between Lynn and Gambhir, the world has more to expect from the magic duo.

Superstar Action

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla co-owning the team have continued their appearances to keep up the media on their toes.

With new designs for the KKR outfit and jersey, more attention comes flowing to them.

Dream Team

Chris Lynn, Darren Bravo, Gautam Gambhir, Rovman Powell and Manish Pandey are the top batsman this season, with Chris Woakes, Trent Boult and Umesh Yadav set to be the top bowlers.

KKR is going to be an especially tough team to beat with Pandey, Jaggi and Yadav being the youth recruits, combined with international players like Umesh, Boult, Kuldeep and Shakib.
