IPL 2017 Live Score: Delhi Daredevils vs Royal Challengers Bangalore #IPL

Resurgent Delhi Daredevils played astonishingly well in their last two matches beating both Pune and Lions in a thumping manner. Certainly, DD will now want to win their last match on a high note with a win and three consecutive victories. However, RCB are also desperate to end their disastrous IPL campaign with a victory and make a graceful exit from IPL 10.

Team News for Delhi Daredevils (DD)

As expected, the match between Delhi Daredevils and RCB will be a ‘battle for pride’ as both the teams would like to finish their IPL 10 campaign on a high note. DD will certainly try to woo the home crowd with a win against RCB while Kohli will also try to win the last match and gain some crucial psychological momentum as a captain just before Champions Trophy.

In last encounter, Delhi comfortably beat RPS by seven wickets with some fantastic batting by Karun Nair and other batsmen. Then again DD outplayed Gujarat Lions courtesy Shreyas Iyer’s fantastic 57-ball 96 and two consecutive boundaries from Amit Mishra in the last over.

Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Karun Nair are the DD’s players to watch out for at tomorrow’s game. While, Mohammed Shami, Pat Cummins, Amit Mishra and Zaheer Khan will lead DD’s bowling attack tomorrow.

Team News for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

RCB were the runners-up last season, but their performance has touched the lowest ebb this year. RCB’s match winners failed to perform throughout this seasons barring one or two innings. Kohli, De Villiers and Gayle have failed to make any big impact this season, which decelerated the team’s performance further.

Inconsistent batting had been the biggest worry for RCB throughout this season. RCB will try to pull up a surprise win over DD at the latter’s own ground on Sunday. Starting from poor bating to pointless bowling, nothing clicked this season for RCB.

They need to play their natural game tomorrow as RCB are left with nothing more to achieve this year. When RCB played against DD at Bangalore last month, Kohli and Co. successfully defended 157 owing to some fantastic bowling from Pawan Negi in the final over. RCB are expected to win the Sunday’s match in style too.

Predicted Playing XI (Both Teams)

Delhi Daredevils (DD): Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant (Wicket Keeper), Marlon Samuels, Karun Nair, Amit Mishra, Mohammed Shami, Corey Anderson, Pat Cummins, Zaheer Khan (Captain) and Shahbaz Nadeem.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB): Chris Gayle, Mandeep Singh, Virat Kohli (Captain), Kedar Jadhav, A Choudhary, Travis Head, Yuzvendra Chahal, Samuel Badree, Sreenath Aravind, AB de Villiers and Pawan Negi.

Head to Head: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have 11-6 win-loss record against Delhi Daredevils (DD).

Match Result Prediction: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will win.

Venue: Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi. The match will telecast live from 8 PM on SONY ESPN.
