Four things to watch out for in the Big Bash League 2017-18

What to watch out for in the Big Bash League 2017-18:

#1 – The Quality of Cricket

The Aussies are known for the levels of competitiveness, ferocity and determination they have shown. The Big Bash League being their flagship event, they bring their best to the field. The best of the Australian cricketers like Mitchell Johnson, Shane Watson, Chris Lynn and Andrew Tye amongst others are part of this league along with international talent like Brendan McCullum, Kieron Pollard, Mitchell McClenaghan and more.

#2 – The Advanced Technology

The Big Bash League introduced a lot of innovations to the cricketing world. Viewers get to witness signature LED stumps and bails that illuminate on impact. It also brought the umpire’s cam and miked players that were once unheard of in cricket.

#3 – Keep an eye on new talent

After the IPL, the Big Bash League is the largest international T20 league. The top T20 specialists from all the cricketing nations will be seen showing their skills here and preparing for upcoming series and leagues that they will be a part of.

#4 – Last chance to see Kevin Pietersen?

Love him or hate him, Kevin Pietersen been one of the most influential cricketers of the past 15 years both on and off the field. And for now at least, he’s still got it. Just. He was the Melbourne Stars’ top scorer last year but if you’ve watched KP over the course of his career you’ll know it’s not about the amount of runs he scores. It’s about the whole show. The swagger, the arrogance, the skill, the power, the passion to entertain. Enjoy it while it lasts.
