The Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar formally unveiled the “Playing it my way” an autobiography penned by him, a year after his retirement from all forms of the game. Leading Indian cricketers like Saurav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid and others were also present on this occasion. Anil Kumble could not attend the event due to his pre-scheduled Meeting with ICC officials. However, Kumble tweeted about it already in the morning and congratulated the little master too.

In an utter surprise to everyone, Sachin Tendulkar discussed in length about the Multan incident when Rahul Dravid declared an innings while the Master Blaster was just six runs short of his double hundred. Tendulkar wanted to end this controversy for one and all. Sachin stated that he is always asked about the incident and it would be the best chance to end this controversy in front of his colleagues.

When Dravid was asked about the Multan incident, he refuted that any confrontation took place between him and Sachin after the match. In the words of Dravid, he was very happy that ultimately the match came out in India’s favour and team India won the match convincingly on their historic tour to Pakistan in 2004.

Dravid further elaborated that there are times when you may have some disagreements with other players, especially when you play together for more than fifteen years, then it is quite natural to have differences in few cases.

However, Dravid felt happy about the outcome of that Test. Dravid handed the bowl to Sachin and asked him to bowl on the last day of the test match and Sachin stood up to the occasion well. He took the prized wicket of Moin khan the then Pakistan’s wicket keeper and specialized batsman. Eventually India won the match and both Dravid and Sachin celebrated along with other players inside the Indian dressing room.

The duo had scripted many win for team India over the last two decades. Sachin and Dravid shared many match winning partnership after the Multan episode. Both these former cricketers of Team India now considered it as a closed chapter now.

It is worthwhile to mention here that Rahul Dravid retired in the year 2012 while Sachin Tendulkar bade adieu to the game of cricket in November last year. Among other discussion at the event, Sachin stood by his ‘Ringmaster’ comment that he made against the former Indian Coach Greg Chappel for his strict and dominating behavior.
