With T20 World Cup approaching fast all the teams will be banking on young guns to perform well and help them win the World Cup. Normally T20 cricket is called the young man’s game and players who are looking to make mark in international cricket. With so many leagues happening around the world, lot of young talent from different nationalities have showcased their skills and earned a place in their national squad.

Let’s take a look of some young players who can pay an important role in success of their national sides in the upcoming World T20:

#1 – Jasprit Bumrah

He is seen as next depth bowler for Team India. After continuously performing for Mumbai Indians (IPL) and Gujarat in domestic circuit he finally got a call up for the Australia tour thanks to injuries. Dhoni spoke a lot for him in post-match conferences and has named him find of the tour. He has been impressive in his short career showing his ability to ball yorkers during slog overs.

He also troubled the Australian batsmen with pace and bounce. The way he dismissed Warner and Smith in Australia clearly shows he can surprise batmen with his pace. He has unusual action which can be tricky sometimes for batsmen to pick. ICC World T20 2016 can be a huge moment for this youngster from Gujarat to make of name for him.

#2 – Colin Munro

He has been the star of New Zealand summer this season. The strong left-handed batsman from Auckland has already made few records in his short career. After retirement of MaCullum, New Zealand would be hoping on Munro to play aggressive cricket and help New Zealand post big totals. His ability to play shots all around the wicket makes him one of the most destructive batsman in modern day cricket.

Munro was included in the squad against Sri Lanka, after great domestic season. In the second T20I at Eden Park, Munro recorded the second fastest T20I fifty of all time in 14 balls, with seven sixes. This is also the fastest fifty by a New Zealander in this format, beating the previous record set by Martin Guptill (50 from 19 balls) just 20 minutes before.

#3 – Jason Roy

He has been rated very highly in England. The aggressive opening batsman from Surrey opens for England in shorter form of the game and his rated very high. His has a potential to destroy any bowing attack on his day.

Roy made his Twenty20 International debut against India in September 2014. Roy has played 101 T20 overall in his career scoring 2514 runs at a Strike Rate of 141.31. He also has an ODI hundred to his name which he scored against Pakistan in Dubai. England will be desperately looking on him to give England good start with the bat.

#4 – Mustafizur Rahman

The young left arm seamer from Bangladesh is the new bowling sensation of Bengal Tigers. His off cutters, change of pace, and various variations have made him one of the most successful bowlers in year 2015. He was also included in ICC ODI Team of the Year 2015.

He won Man of the Match in his first two ODIs played against India and returned with total wickets 13 wickets in three match series which is currently the highest by any bowler in his debut series. He also won Man of the Match award in his Test debut against South Africa. So far he has played seven T20Is since debut and picked up 10 wickets at an impressive average of 14.9 and an economy rate of less than 6 runs per over.
