Impossible India And The Struggling Sachin

Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar

Before engrossing into the ill-fate of Sachin Tendulkar, one thing should be said, do not blame Dhoni for the last over decision! He is a good, bold captain. On seeing statuses and mocking comments about him on the social networking sites, it feels that when it comes to commenting there are millions, but when it is called for a correction no one turns up. That was a highly pressurized moment, so the decision was wise or not, the decision seemed convincing.

Now Sachin’s century goes to the losing team!

That seems jinxed and scary. Whenever, Sachin scores the team loses the balance. Poor team does not know that, The God helps only those who help themselves!

Why is this happening for the second time in this World Cup? Is Sachin’s striking power makes the rest of the team complacent? If you had watched the Saturday’s match, in that Sachin fielded like a teen. A very powerful and charming player he was. In the final crunched situation, Dhoni went out of his pulses and decided for Nehra to bowl. Had the rest of the team put “little” effort, had scored 3 extra runs each, India would be with two extra points on the table. The match against WI is a very crucial one to decide if we got to stay longer or leave with shame.

Another episode of 2007 World Cup is impossible to take by the fans. Too much of hype and publicity went to the drains this time. The first downfall for India should have been against England where The God helped in making it a tie, but it rebounded in the form of Saturday’s match bringing shame to the team for putting nil efforts.

What is stopping the team from scoring runs?

The over-satisfied feeling that Sachin is there- if he scored 100 that is enough to back the team throughout for the fifty over, but it is not so. The top order, the batting lineup is so tenuous that it is very unreliable. We cannot stay calm with the opening Sachin-Sehwag duo is very unpredictable. Sachin can score; he assures a minimum score of at least 25-30. But scores like 2, 0, 5 and all are shameful. Even a Ranji Trophy player can play better. In that place, he can put at least 10 runs.

I do not want to comment a word on the bowling squad, as it is very poor and does not deserve any reviews.

Is Sachin a scorer for the losing team or the team sinks because of the doped belief on Sachin Tendulkar?
