World Wrestling Entertainment

With a colossal fan following all over the world “World Wrestling Entertainment” is an exciting and rocking wrestling entertainment TV show. Telecasted in more than 100 countries across the globe this show is popular and has many fans. About 500 million homes are reached worldwide by it!! The WWE superstars are quite famous and their fans are crazy about watching them.

Founded back in 1952, WWE is actually not a pure tussle. It is a simulated sport which consists of wrestling combined with acting and theatre. And this is what grabs the attention of all its fans and they love to see the drama which happens on the stage. Who said that you wrestling is too technical and is too dry to watch!!!

WWE promotes professional wrestling. The CEO and chairman of the company is Mr. Vince McMahon.  The headquarters of the company is located in Stamford, Connecticut.  The company was first names as Titan Sports and then changed to World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. But, at present it’s named as World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.

WWE at present has three brands under which all the so called superstars fight. They are WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown and WWE NXT. NXT debuted in February 2010 and is quite new. But, all the three brands especially raw and smack down are quite popular. They have been like a part of every youngster’s favourite pastime at some childhood time in his life.

Some of the best present WWE superstars who have colossal fans are-John Cena, The Underatker, Randy Orton, Triple H and Rey Mystrio. The WWE Divas too have a good fan base. But, some of the best WWE superstars of all time are- Bret Hart, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. Actually the list is endless and there is a hall of fame on WWE website which caters to this! The Great Khali is an Indian superstar at present who features in WWE.

WWE has a huge impact on its viewers. It can influence people drastically. There have been cases of tussles in schools between children inspired from WWE. And even youngsters sometimes try to wrestle out like one of their favourite superstars! And there have been some death cases reported as well! So, globally WWE does a good business and has huge audience. And due to some weird trials by its fans back home WWE in good spirit is now telecasting a message. The message is ”Who you are, whatever you do, please do not try this at home or school.”

The superstars themselves give the message. They also mention that they are battling it out inside the ring under professional/expert guidance. They have also been toiling/practising the act from last 5-10 years to get perfection. So, WWE is making efforts to not let its viewers/fans suffer from injuries.
