#IPL: Kings XI Punjab supports a better life for underprivileged children




True to their motto of giving back to the society, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will be extending support to the cause of providing underprivileged children with a better lifestyle.

The franchise has pledged support to World Immunization Week for the 4th consecutive year this time and as a part of the same, they aim to raise awareness about the importance of having full immunisations. The Lions’ squad, management and owners will be wearing a red wristband with the hashtag #shot4life during the games on the 28th and 30th in order to showcase their support for the cause.

Additionally, as a part of their existing association with Yuva Unstoppable, Kings XI Punjab will also be providing better sanitation and a healthier environment to economically underprivileged students. As a part of this initiative, they will be refurbishing a government school in Mohali.

Kings XI Punjab will also be supporting the cause on social media, inviting their fans to join them in supporting the noble initiative undertaken.

Commenting on the development, Satish Menon, Chief Executive Officer, Kings XI Punjab stated: “We are exceptionally proud to support the cause of providing support to underprivileged children. With nearly 1.3 million children in India suffering due to preventable diseases, supporting immunisations holds a high importance for the Kings XI family. We hope our endeavour, will help inform and educate parents and children about the benefits of immunisation, thereby encouraging them to lead a better and healthier life. “
