Wave World Kabaddi League (WaveWKL) is the first international league to be launched in India. The league will be played across 16 international cities and will be the only international sports league to kick-start out of India. Wave World Kabaddi League will be presented to its fans in a new avatar and will innovate by adding more action-oriented elements to this maiden Indian contact sport.

WKL aims to become the go-to brand when it comes to sports entertainment or delivering value to its partners and sponsors. WKL as a brand embodies strength, power, agility, tactic, entertainment, masculinity and aggression. It is taking an indigenous Indian sport to the world and redefining it for the Indian audience. It gives Kabaddi a ‘gladiatorial’ persona and adds loads of spunk and aura.
The League will all set for a dazzling inaugural on August 9th at O2 Arena, London which will see a confluence of stars from politics, sports and bollywood converging to celebrate the launch of new avatar of Kabaddi. Moving from London, Wave WKL will move to 12 more cities across three continents covering 13 cities in UK, USA , Canada, Paksitan and India and have matches spread over 18 weekends. 144 international players will participate in the league.
Wave WKL aims to grow the sport of professional Kabaddi as clean with world class talent and build it as India’s original contact sport. After successfully executing four editions of The Kabaddi World Cup in Punjab, the sport is up for a major facelift under the mentorship of Shri Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy CM Punjab & Shri Pargat Singh, Olympian and Sports Administrator.
