Last year, New Zealand’s tour of India was quite disappointing. India whitewashed them 4-0 before winning the ODI series 3-2. Certainly, if the opening pair of New Zealand, Martin Guptill and Colin Muroe gets some rhythm at the start then it could be costly for team India. Both are the destructive batsmen and know how to accelerate run-rate against quality bowling attack in the first 15 overs.
Kiwi veteran Ross Taylor is also going to play a key role in the series.
